Many resort properties in the BolgarskiyDom catalogue are ready to occupy, with completed interiors and, in some cases, furniture and appliances. This applies to both resale homes and apartments in new developments.
Other buyers prefer an unfinished apartment so they can choose the interior, furniture and appliances themselves.
New-build listings should state the level of completion. Common categories include:
- Shell condition (Bulgarian State Standard). The exact specification varies, but it may include double-glazed windows, plastered walls and a cement screed floor.
- Turnkey apartment. A turnkey apartment normally has windows, internal doors, finished floors, painted or prepared walls and installed sanitary fittings. Air conditioning, heating and a water heater may be included, but the contract specification is decisive.
- Furnished turnkey apartment. This includes the turnkey finish plus some or all furniture and appliances. Check the inventory before signing or completing the purchase.
Furnishing Support from BolgarskiyDom
If you choose property in Bulgaria in shell condition, we can introduce designers, contractors and furnishing suppliers. Remote coordination may be possible, with the scope, approvals and reporting agreed in advance.
For turnkey apartments, we can also share supplier options and help coordinate delivery and installation. A typical remote process is:
- Discuss the brief, budget, measurements and schedule online or in an office;
- Select furniture and appliances from current supplier catalogues;
- Approve a written quotation, specification and installation plan.
Any paid coordination should be covered by a written contract stating the scope, timing, fees, approval process and responsibilities.
For current options and availability, contact a BolgarskiyDom manager through the Contacts page.
