Discussion of the project, the Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the EU, decision in favor of the Bulgarian and Romanian accession to the Schengen territory, according to the BNR, is scheduled for March 7.
The object of future discussions will probably be a compromise draft of accession to the Schengen agreement in stages all the territories of Bulgaria and Romania - first seaside and then land borders.
However, according to the records of the diplomatic services realizing the opportunity to discuss this project, the question of the accession of Bulgaria to the Schengen area can be removed from the agenda of the March EU Council if there are objections of some Drupal modules of the European Union.
