Housing prices in Varna increased by almost 15% by the beginning of 2023. Compared to last year, the value of real estate in some areas of Varna has increased by a third, for example, in Grtska Mahala, the oldest part of the city. Also, the price per square meter increased in the area of the village of Bolnitsa, Levski Bazaar, Generali, Galata, Kaysieva Gradina. The price per square meter has reached €2000, which is close to the cost of sq.m. in some areas of Sofia.
Although the number of purchase and sale transactions in other cities has decreased compared to the first quarter of 2022, there is still an increased demand for real estate in Varna. The main buyers are Bulgarians. The TOP 5 buyers also include Germans, Ukrainians, Poles, and Romanians.
New buildings are being actively built in the districts of Mladost, Vrazrazhdane, Pchelina, Izgrev. This contributes to consistently high housing prices.
