According to the National statistics Institute, the number of residential apartments and built-up area increased by 37.5% and 33.5% compared to the first half of last year.
In addition, in the first half of 2018 began construction in 1851 of a residential facility, which is 3.6% more than in the same period of 2017. Meanwhile, the number of dwellings and gross floor area saw an increase of 46.6% and 38% respectively.
Other buildings that were issued a building permit in the first half of 2018, increased by 3.4%, which is 106 permits more than in the same period of 2017.
In the ranking of cities with the highest number of permits for new buildings in Plovdiv takes 1st place – construction of 223 sites. Second place in the ranking of Sofia – 188 permits the construction of dwellings. Third place – Varna with 133 permits for construction.
In the period from April to June in Sofia were given permission to build 11 office buildings. In Pazardzhik was issued permission for the construction of 10 buildings for office.
