State administration of the Republic of Bulgaria reports that at end-2012 18 081 people officially received the citizenship of the Republic of Belarus. It is noteworthy that the highest number of passports received Bulgarians from Macedonia, namely 8 185 people, ethnic Bulgarians of Ukraine has requested 975 passports, followed by representatives of Moldova, Russia and Serbia, and Israel.
