Starting from 6 January 2014, in the lexicon of Bulgarian builders will have a new term "Eurocode" that will indicate a change of the Bulgarian rules of construction, the new European standards. The new changes primarily concern the construction of public and commercial buildings. Small projects or private buildings be inspected for compliance with the new standards only after a year, which, of course, is expected to affect the value of the number of construction early in the new year. So, the introduction of European standards will lead to higher prices of new construction by 5 percent or more.
In addition to new construction, the introduction of the Eurocodes will also affect the renovations funded by private or corporate investors, as well as work on the reconstruction and restoration of public and other buildings.
