The Minister of environment of Bulgaria ivelina Vasileva, made a statement the other day that almost all beaches in Bulgaria the purity of sea water in accordance with current EU requirements. She explained its findings with results of samples taken of the sea bathing water at local beaches.
Excellent ratings were received by the beaches near Golden Sands, Albena, Burgas, Nessebar, Balchik, St Constantine and Elena, Pomorie, Primorsko, Kiten and Sinemorets. Yet on some beaches there is a problem with the cleanliness of the bathing water. So Bulgaria will continue to actively invest in the construction of new and reconstruction of old treatment plants on the coast.
Already been spent for this purpose 300 million BGN and as a result in Nessebar, Burgas, Varna, Pomorie and Sozopol there are new treatment plant!
