The Bulgarian national Bank has published preliminary data on the volume of direct foreign investments in the first half of 2015. According to the report, the total volume of investments in country's economy for the first two quarters of 2015 reached 799,6 million euros. The growth of this indicator in annual terms amounted to 1.9%.
Investments attracted in the real estate sector in the current year decreased compared to last year's values by 73%. To comparison, in the first 6 months of this year, this figure amounted to 17.5 million euros, while last year's values were at the level of 64.8 per million.
The largest foreign investor was the Netherlands that have invested in the Bulgarian economy more than 567 million euros.
