The data of the consulting company Cushman&Wakefield show that commercial space in the centre of Sofia is the most profitable in the European Union.
According to a report published by the company, citing data from Forton, rental rates for retail space in the Central areas of the capital in the third quarter of 2017 reached a length of 13.5 euros per square meter. This is 4% higher than the same period last year.
Profitability of commercial premises in the centre of Sofia reached 8%, unchanged compared to last year.
High yield commercial property Sofia is associated primarily with a lack of commercial space and the stable growth of demand from investors.
In the second place in EU on the profitability of real estate in Central business districts located is Bucharest (7,25%). In Munich and the Hague profitability in this segment was 6% and the EU average – 3%.
The leader among European capitals is still Moscow, where the average profitability of office premises in the 3rd quarter of 2017 amounted to 12.5%, while in Milan, Vienna, Rome and Milan – less than 3%.
