According to news portal Investor.bg, citing the CEO of Green Life Development & Resorts Teofil Petrov, at the end of 2016, significantly increased the proportion of Bulgarian property buyers in the black sea districts of the country. So in Sozopol, the share of Bulgarian citizens made up 40% of the total number of customers, but in Pomorie exceeded 30%.
Among the buyers of the marine estate is dominated by people from Sofia, Blagoevgrad, Stara Zagora. In the list there are many Bulgarians from Burgas and Varna. Most transactions are for cash, without the involvement of mortgage loans.
The company Green Life Development & Resorts also outlined a portrait of the average buyer of real estate. In Sozopol are young and middle-aged people with children. Property in Pomorie often buy people in retirement and pre-retirement age. The purpose of the purchase in most cases is a seasonal residence. The budget ranges from 40 to 60 thousand euros for a Studio apartment.
According to experts of the company in 2017 on the Bulgarian real estate market turmoil is not expected. The number of transactions and prices for holiday homes will rise slightly. Customer preferences also will not change significantly.
