According to the news portal NewsBg, Minister of tourism of Bulgaria Nikolina Angelkova encouraged to actively advertise Bulgaria as a year-round tourist destination. The head of the tourism Department said, opening the exhibition “Holidays, customs, traditions and tourism”, where representatives of dozens of municipalities in Bulgaria, introduced the most popular attractions, culture and traditions of their regions.
Activities similar to this exhibition, according to the Minister, are a great opportunity to increase the attractiveness of Bulgaria and the popular balneological, mountain and cultural activities.
The exhibition also announced the creation of a unified tourist online registrythat contains information about the main attractions of Bulgaria.
