August 5, the Association of Tour Operators announced that Bulgaria temporarily ceases to issue tourist visas to Russians. We hasten to reassure you - the issuance of visas has not stopped. However, according to the Bulgarian embassy in Moscow, due to technical reasons, their processing takes longer than usual.
Why did the terms for the provision of services increase? The reason is that in early August, the Russian Foreign Ministry expelled a dozen and a half diplomats from Bulgaria. This was the response of the Russian Federation to the Bulgarian side, when the latter, on June 28, decided to expel seventy Russian diplomats from the country along with the technical staff of the embassy. As a result, due to a shortage of staff, processing of documents takes longer than usual.
What visas are allowed to enter Bulgaria today?
