Millennium

Millennium (also known as Millennium 1) is a completed residential complex with Act 16 in Sveti Vlas. The complex comprises 140 apartments and features an outdoor swimming pool with a children’s section, a fitness centre, a restaurant, a playground, security and underground parking. The sandy beach is approximately 150–300 metres away, depending on the building and the route taken. The complex is suitable for year-round living.

What you need to know before buying

• Apartments. Millennium offers studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as spacious multi-bedroom properties. BolgarskiyDom currently lists a furnished 66 sq. m one-bedroom apartment on the second floor and a 190 sq. m four-room apartment on the sixth floor.
• Layouts and views. The 66 sq. m apartment has a separate bedroom and a large balcony, but no sea view. The 190 sq. m apartment comprises three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room with a kitchen and spacious terraces offering a direct sea view. The availability of a sea panorama depends on the floor and the position of the apartment.
• Furnishings and condition. The current properties are sold furnished, but the contents vary from one apartment to another. Before completing the purchase, check the condition of the kitchen, air conditioners, plumbing, appliances, windows and terraces, and confirm which items will remain after the sale.
• Maintenance fee. The current BolgarskiyDom listings state a maintenance fee of €14–15 per sq. m per year. This is approximately €924 per year for the 66 sq. m apartment and approximately €2,850 for the 190 sq. m apartment. The exact rate and the list of included services should be verified against the contract for the specific property.
• Pool and amenities. The gated grounds feature an outdoor swimming pool with a children’s section and a relaxation area. Other advertised facilities include a fitness centre, spa area, restaurant, shop, reception and playground. It is advisable to check in advance the opening schedules of the commercial facilities and the availability of additional services outside the summer season.
• Parking. The complex has underground parking. A parking space is not automatically included in the price of every apartment, so car owners should check whether a specific space is transferred with the property or must be purchased or rented separately.
• Number of floors and name. The complex page states that the building has seven floors, while one current property listing states eight. The names Millennium and Millennium 1 are also both used in listings. Before buying, confirm the building, its official name and the floor-numbering system, and make sure this property is not confused with the separate Millennium 2 complex.
• Documents and year-round living. The listed apartments have Act 16, and the complex is presented as suitable for year-round living. The centre of Sveti Vlas is about a five-minute walk away, with supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and the seafront promenade nearby. BolgarskiyDom charges no buyer’s commission on the current listings, although the costs of completing the transaction are payable separately.

Millennium is located between central Sveti Vlas and the sea, so the main everyday and resort amenities are within walking distance. The beach can be reached in a few minutes, while Sunny Beach is approximately six kilometres away. When choosing an apartment, consider the orientation of the windows, possible noise from seasonal venues and the actual walking route to the sea.

Millennium will appeal to buyers looking for a completed apartment with Act 16 close to the beach and the centre of Sveti Vlas, together with a swimming pool, secure grounds and underground parking. The complex offers both relatively compact one-bedroom apartments and large properties with attractive views. Before completing the purchase, it is especially important to verify the maintenance fee, any designated parking space and the operation of the amenities during winter.
