Polo Resort is a well-kept gated residential complex in the southern part of Sunny Beach, near Cacao Beach, about 400 metres from the sea. The six-storey building with a lift is surrounded by landscaped grounds with a large pool. The complex has one-bedroom apartments of roughly 54 to 62 sq m.

What to know before you buy

• Location. The south of the resort by Cacao Beach: the beach is about 400 metres away, supermarkets, cafés and bus stops are nearby, and Nessebar is a few minutes by car.
• Apartments. One-bedroom apartments with balconies facing the pool, the garden or the resort; open views from the upper floors. They are usually sold furnished and with appliances — we check the condition of each one.
• Pool and grounds. A large outdoor pool with a children's section and sun loungers, landscaped grounds and a playground.
• Building. A six-storey building with a lift.
• Security. The grounds are gated, with security all year round.
• All year round. The complex is open all year — convenient for holidays and for permanent living.
• Documents. Before a deposit is paid, we check the documents for the apartment, that there are no maintenance fee arrears, and the terms of the contract.

Sunny Beach is the largest resort on the coast, with a wide sandy beach. Shops, pharmacies and cafés stay open out of season; Nessebar is a few minutes away by car, Burgas airport about half an hour.
