What to know before you buy
Location. A quiet part of the resort: the beach is about 400 metres away, a 5–10 minute walk. Supermarkets, pharmacies, cafés and a bus stop are close by.
Apartments. Compact studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments of roughly 33 to 55 sq m, many with balconies overlooking the pool. They are usually sold furnished and with appliances — we check the condition of each one.
Pool and grounds. A pool with a separate children's area and sun loungers, a green courtyard and a playground.
Building and parking. A five-storey building with a lift and parking by the complex. It is completed with Act 16, so the apartments can be lived in all year.
Security. The grounds are gated with controlled access, 24-hour security and video surveillance.
Documents. Before a deposit is paid, we check the documents for the apartment, that there are no maintenance fee arrears, and the terms of the contract.
Sunny Beach is the largest resort on the coast, with a wide sandy beach. Shops, pharmacies and cafés stay open out of season; Nessebar is a few minutes away by car, Burgas airport about half an hour.
Sveta Elena suits buyers looking for an affordable, compact apartment by the sea — for holidays or renting out.
