According to WorldFirst's analysis, Bulgaria ranks 7th among EU countries, with Turkey also included, for returns from letting property.
The Netherlands leads at 6.57%, followed by Belgium at 6.37% and Portugal at 6.29%. Bulgaria's average housing rental return is 5.99%.
Bulgaria therefore outranks the United Kingdom, which placed 21st among 29 countries at 4.28%, the EU average, as well as Sweden, which came last!
