The Bulgarian authorities are planning to put down a mark in the passport of Russian tourists at the airport. The proposal of the Minister of tourism must obtain the approval of the European Union, and then officially entered into force.
Against the backdrop of political turmoil and the fall of the ruble resorts in Bulgaria by the end of 2014 called for 3% less Russians. On the background of negative dynamics in the field of tourism, the local authorities take further steps to simplify the visa regime for Russian citizens. Another relief in this regard was the desire of the authorities to permit the issuance of visas to tourists from Russia at the airport. This year the Russians are planning a tourist trip to Sunny Bulgaria, yet still have to go through the standard procedure of visa. However, some positive changes have already come into effect from February 2015.
- Now tourists whose passports have a Bulgarian visa stickers will be able to get a multiple entry visa valid for 1 year and children up to 5 years.
- Property owners in Bulgaria will have the opportunity to obtain national multiple entry for up to 3 years.
- For adolescents under 18 engaged in annual tourist visits to Bulgaria, will be granted multiple entry for up to 5 years.
The authorities expect the adoption of changes that will encourage even more citizens of Russia to spend your next holiday in Bulgaria.
