In the past year alone, tourist arrivals in Bulgaria increased by more than 3%, prompting local transport services to give serious thought to comfortable transport for the republic's guests. For this very reason, Bulgarian Railways will put around 3 new sleeping cars into service as early as 30 May this year. Each car is equipped with shower cabins, comfortable sleeping compartments and information systems.
Meanwhile, 5 out of 30 cars are adapted for people with disabilities, allowing them to travel comfortably to Bulgaria. According to tourism and property market experts, such innovations are preparing Bulgaria for another surge in apartment sales in well-known resorts, as well as tours of Bulgaria's sights.
