According to brokers, on the black sea coast of Bulgaria is gaining popularity of loft housing. More and more customers are interested in non-residential facilities – warehouses, garages, abandoned industrial buildings, attics, which can potentially be converted for residential purposes. This trend is observed in the Varna region, according to the Investor.bg, citing brokerage Agency Imoti.net.
Non-residential premises attract buyers large areas, low cost per square meter and the possibility of translating the repair of any design fantasies. As a rule, these capital objects, which can be converted into a durable and reliable residential houses and apartments.
Buyers of non-residential premises is mostly young people, representatives of the IT sector, artists and creative individuals.
Due to the complexity of renewal of real estate, the demand for this housing format so far observed only in the towns and resorts on the coast. However, in the future, experts predict growth of popularity of loft housing in other regions of Bulgaria.
