Bulgarian authorities introduce a new order of classification of tourist real estate. The new rules will apply to all facilities of the resort orientation. Under the new system, residential facilities will be divided into two categories. Large hotels and apartment complexes will be assigned to category a, guesthouses and private apartments - category “B”.
In the first stage, the innovation will affect hotels and tourist apartcomplex in the resorts of Bulgaria. Home inspection for compliance with classification criteria to begin in early 2016. Semi-annual window will allow hotel owners to prepare complexes for the upcoming inspections.
