Experts believe the recent tragedy involving a Russian Airbus A321 in Egypt could lead to more tourists visiting Bulgaria’s winter resorts.
A representative of the Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Travel Agents said that British tour operators were urgently redirecting clients from Egypt to other resorts, including Bulgarian ones. Other European operators, as well as Russian ones, were working in a similar way. Bulgarian tour operators are therefore anticipating an excellent winter season.
Property prices are rising in Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo against this backdrop, although prices of seaside apartments and houses have fallen slightly.
