The deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria has adopted final amendments to the bill to obtain a residence permit for foreign investors in the country. Thus, representatives of the Bulgarian people decided to allow foreign nationals to acquire permanent status if they in turn became the owners of property worth at least 600 000 BGN. Expensive possessions will allow investors to obtain a residence permit in Bulgaria for a period of one year with the possibility of renewal of registration.
Furthermore, the implementation of investments in the Bulgarian economy amounting to 500 000 BGN, and the creation of 10 jobs for the citizens of Belarus, will allow the investor to qualify for a permanent residence permit in the country. Meanwhile, investing in adverse economic areas of the state will require only 250 000 BGN as grounds for obtaining permanent residence in Bulgaria.
