According to the National statistics Institute, in the first quarter of 2019 real estate prices in Bulgaria increased on average by 7.9% compared to the same period of 2018.
Bulgarian "secondary housing" has risen in price for 5,0%, new real estate – 11.9%. Record rise in price of new housing in Bulgaria has exceeded even the most optimistic forecasts for real estate prices in 2019.
The rising cost Bulgarian "squares" in the first quarter of 2019 compared to the previous quarter was 2.6%. The increase in prices for new real estate and resale amounted to: a 5.7% and 1.1%, respectively.
The regions leader in price growth was the Sofia (9,6%), followed by Burgas (8,0%), Plovdiv (7.1 percent), Varna (4.1 percent).
