The British rankings portal The Post Office, having researched inexpensive but high-quality tourist services, awarded Bulgaria 6th place in the ranking of the world's best cheap resorts. The top positions went to resorts in Spain and Sri Lanka, as well as the tourist infrastructure of the Czech Republic and Bali and hotels in Vietnam.
Notably, the study found that total spending on the tourist goods most commonly purchased in Sunny Beach came to 45.10 pounds. The total included coffee, local beer, mineral water, sunscreen, dinner for two at a seaside restaurant and a bottle of the universally popular Coca-Cola.
