Now traffic camera Bulgaria will record not only a violation of traffic rules. Soon the camera will be equipped with a control system having motor vehicle policy liability. The surveillance system will connect with a database of all insurance policies, so after photographing the rooms will be checked whether the car insurance and its importance. In case of absence or expiration of the policy, the violator will receive a notification.
This provision is published on the website of the Ministry of Finance of Bulgaria in the explanation to the new Insurance Code. The regulations will come into force on 1 January 2016. The lack of insurance, will cost the car owner in 400-600 lions. In the case of repeated violation the penalty will be 10 000 BGN.
