The Council of Ministers of Bulgaria adopted a decision on reduction of tariffs for the registration permit and DWA for some categories of foreigners. The decision came into force upon publication in the Official Gazette on 21 March 2017.
Now family members of Bulgarian citizens or of EU citizens and family members of foreigners holding long-term residence in Bulgaria, the residence permit will cost 150 leva.
For pensioners preferential tariffs is not provided, however, if the foreign national has permanent residence permit or long-term stay in Bulgaria, all the members of his family (spouse and children) can apply for a residence permit at a reduced price.
The fee for the issue of a residence permit for holders of a blue card (work permit in Bulgaria or another EU country) and academic staff is 110 leva.
Students, pupils and interns can obtain a long-term residence permit in Bulgaria 100 leva.
According to the decision of the Bulgarian government, the rate for DWA design (long-term permission to stay) will be 110 leva.
