Sozopol took 6-th place in the list of the most popular destinations of Europe by the European Best Destinations 2017. The rating is based on the customer reviews left on social networks.
Sozopol is described in the ranking as the most ancient city in Bulgaria, with many possibilities for tourists due to its location, the sea, proximity to cities, the picturesque nature.
The rating is based on feedback from travelers from 174 countries. This year it includes 20 European cities, among which the winner was the Portuguese Port. Among other areas in the list – Athens, Milan, San Sebastian, Vienna, Basel, Rotterdam, Madrid, Paris, etc.
