In July of the current year compared with the corresponding period last year at Sofia airport noted a positive trend in almost all indicators. The number of handled passengers increased by 8.3% and reached almost 394 thousand people, two thirds of which used the services of the 2nd Terminal.

By July 2015, Sofia airport took more than 4170 aircraft, which is 7% higher than last year.
For 2016 experts also predict an increase in passenger traffic due to the planned increase in flights from Sofia airport. For example, WIZZ Air and Ryanair open next year 5 new directions, including regular flight to London.
