For the first 6 months of 2015 recorded 11 percent growth of real estate transactions and the increase in the number of mortgage loans 42%. These trends speak eloquently about the ongoing restoration of the Bulgarian real estate market.
According to the Bulgarian Agency for registration, in the second quarter of 2015 seriously increased the number of real estate transactions. So over the period of the Bulgarian loggers recorded almost 58150 of transactions of purchase and sale of property. This is 15% higher than the figures for the first quarter of 2015 and 13% on last year's figures for the same period.
For the period January-December 2015, the total number of transactions reached 108 614. This is 11% more than in the same period in 2014, when it was registered 97850 deals.
Another indicator of a recovering real estate market in Bulgaria - increase in the number of issued mortgage loans. During the period under review was marked by a 35% increase compared with the first three months of 2015 and an increase of 46.7% compared to the second quarter of 2014. Year-on-year increase for the first half of 2015 amounted to 42%.
The growth in the number of transactions was recorded in Sofia, Burgas, Plovdiv and Varna. Data on quarterly and annual increase in these cities is presented in the table below.
