Despite the fact that the second half of 2012 was marked by the growth of real estate prices in Bulgaria by more than 0.2%, the overall annual trend of price movement was negative and showed inverters decline of 2.6%.
According to a report by the National Institute of Statistics, the cheaper apartments are most obviously manifested in the resort town of Varna, where the reduction in the cost of living area amounted to 5%. Meanwhile, in Sofia and Burgas, housing prices also have been reduced, but not significantly. The overall decline was 0.6%. Today the average price of apartments in Bulgaria is 1456 leva per square meter.
