Kindergartens in Bulgaria

For many foreigners, the actual question of how to attach their babies to kindergarten for the duration of stay of the family in Bulgaria. It is important for anyone planning to buy in Bulgaria real estate, the leading business here, arrived in the country for permanent residence, and for tourists in the Bulgarian resorts a few months of the year. Prices in Bulgarian kindergartens

The cost of services in Bulgarian kindergartens depends on the type of school.

  • Public kindergartens: Tariffs for citizens of Bulgaria is 20-50 Lev (BGN). For foreign citizens the cost of training and 70-100 Lev (BGN), or about 35-50 euros.
  • Private kindergartens: the cost of a monthly training ranges from 170-300 euros depending on the chosen kindergarten. Subject to the payment for a few months or a year tuition discount. Private kindergartens offer different packages of services: full tuition, partial tuition, food and transport, without food and transport. The choice of package determines the final cost of maintenance for the child in kindergarten.

Differences between public and private kindergartens in Bulgaria

All kindergartens Bulgaria, both public and private, must conform to the standards of the Ministry of education. In order to gain accreditation, every school must adhere to educational programs developed and approved by the Ministry.

On the other hand, to involve the parents, many private pre-schools are administered the program with additional educational items. These include:

  • The study of foreign languages (English, Russian, German);
  • Learning music and painting;
  • Yoga and artistic gymnastics.

All pre-school educational institutions in Bulgaria classes are held in the state language. However, in some kindergartens, targeting foreigners who are working caregivers who understand or speak Russian.

In other institutions and take regular classes in Russian language. Moreover, in these gardens you can meet at least a few Russian-speaking compatriots. All these factors facilitate the acclimatization of the children in the Bulgarian environment.
