Luxor

Luxor is a gated residential complex in the southern part of Sveti Vlas, between the centre of the resort and Sunny Beach, about 400 metres from the sea. Six-storey buildings with lifts stand around a courtyard with a pool. The complex holds one- and two-bedroom apartments of roughly 70 to 120 sq m, some on two levels and many with two bathrooms.

What to know before you buy

• Location. The southern part of Sveti Vlas: the beach is about 400 metres away along a footpath, with supermarkets, pharmacies and a bus stop close by. The centre of the resort and the marina are a few minutes away by car.
• Apartments. One- and two-bedroom apartments of roughly 70 to 120 sq m, including two-level apartments on the upper floors. Large balconies and terraces; the upper floors look out to the sea and the mountains. They are sold furnished or renovated without furniture — we check the condition of each one.
• Pool and grounds. An outdoor pool with sun loungers, a park with a barbecue area, a mini football pitch and a children's corner.
• Buildings and parking. Six-storey buildings with lifts and free on-site parking. The complex is completed with Act 16, so the apartments can be lived in all year.
• Security. Card access, video surveillance and 24-hour security.
• Documents. Before a deposit is paid, we check the documents for the apartment, that there are no maintenance fee arrears, and the terms of the contract.

Sveti Vlas is a calm resort between the mountains and the sea, with a marina, a promenade and several beaches. Shops, pharmacies and cafés are open all year; Sunny Beach is a few minutes away, Burgas airport about 40 minutes by car.
