At Easter Bulgaria, and particularly Sofia, was visited by guests from Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia and Poland. In turn, Bulgarian believers during Easter went on a journey through the Orthodox shrines in the Balkans.
In relation to the upcoming holiday season Bulgarian experts do not hide their optimism. Ms. Dinev expects to increase tourist arrivals by 15% and tourism Minister Stella Baltova predicts a 10 percent increase in the number of tourists compared to the year 2016.
